No other comments manager suggestions (not important for him apparently). When the bill came, the salmon meal that was sent back was taken off. Also raised concern/comment that, given we sent a meal back - where's the manager? He was "busy with another table " another issue? A table sent something back and you don't stop by? He was not encumbered any longer - simply hung with the servers not important for him to stop by. Again, the server seemed perplexed and her only ask was - can I get you another one? Really? Given the condition of this, what makes you think there's any confidence in the "next one?" No more appetite. Now quality is important, and it takes a lot to send something back - this went back. And, the sticky and lukewarm rice looked as though it was "splatted" onto the plate from an ice cream scoop. When it did, the salmon was grey, looked as if it had been under a warming lamp for, oh about a day or so! Literally scary looking. Then, one meal showed, not hot, but passable. bottle versus her "can I get you another?" Okay, maybe new it happens. The server appeared perplexed maybe she was new opted to go.
Not any more! It started with a beer that was as flat as a newly paved street. Moreīahama Breeze has been on the "go to" list. Someone needs to wake up to the situation here.
We do not go out to dinner to be treated with disdain upon arrival. Its also very bad example for the other employees and does not promote a good service environment. The covid environment is not an excuse to treat customers poorly for expediency sake. Victoria, the apparent manager, did not demonstrate customer service in any respect during our interactions with her. Allante, our server, was very good and helped us feel better about the experience. The waitress cleared a table in the bar area and our son joined us for the drinks and apps. A young waitress recently coming to the desk asked if she could help us as Victoria avoided us and, at the time, was nowhere to be found. It was so obvious that we were being ignored, that waiting customers spoke up to the desk on our behalf. A half hour later, customers came and went, and some new customers awaited service at the reception desk. As I was discussing our options with this young man, the apparent manager, Victoria, abruptly and rudely intervened to say a table in the bar area would be cleared in a couple of minutes. not sit and wait, having drinks and apps, before our son arrived, because of covid rules. Upon arrival, an obviously new employee, told us we could. We had a 5pm reservation to meet our son, but arrived an hour early due to finished chores in the area.
